Daily Log Guidelines

Each team member should have a tab (page) for their daily log titled "Daily Log: [your initials here]


Below you will find requirements for each daily log as well as evaluation criterial. You can submit the following by simply modifying your page each day.

Each daily log needs
  • The date it was written
  • What task did you work on? (Be specific)
  • What did this task entail?
  • Challenges/successes/things learned
  • Your plan/task for next class
  • Include a note if you were absent on the previous class meeting
  • You may write in first person (use "I").

Your daily log will be graded on:
  • Timely completion (you do one every day)
  • Use of correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and professionalism
  • Use of complete sentences
  • Detailed description of tasks performed
    • Example of a good description: Today I was in charge of documenting the requirements for each of the four challenge tasks. This entailed taking measurements for each task such as diameters of hoops, mass/dimensions of schworoctopus, length of transect, etc. This was challenging because....
    • Example of a bad description: Today I built the frame. Everything worked ok.
